• Clunky user interface, flawed MusicXML implementation

  It doesn't crash my system.

  Cons

  The user interface is unintuitive and quirky, which lengthens the learning curve. For example, there are several different ways to enter text; each of these functions differently, which is confusing. The MusicXML import implementation is very buggy. The playback is garbled, and the assignment of notes to strings in the tablature view is arbitrary and frequently wrong. I found the user manual to be of limited value.

  Summary

  I am not impressed. GuitarPro's user interface is much richer and more intuitive. The MusicXML import feature is essentially worthless.

  Pros

  So good; configured my own 'template files' and am using for bass, drum set, and sometimes for guitar. The little support I have required has been raid and friendly; thank you Kevin Saturn.

  Cons

  Printing options seemed a bit limited, but with experimentation, printed very good sheet music.

  Dollar for Dollar it's about the best program I have purchased....I have had many expensive sequencing programs and non as versatile as Tabledit

  Pros

  I've been a registered user of Tabledit for quite some time. I love it!!! I like to be able to produce nicely printed tab for my guitar students and with Tabledit I can do it quickly and easily.

  I think I would like the full version of this to some extent, however, I'm very disappointed that the free download of this does not state that it's a DEMO!! I don't mind trying something as a demo version, but I expect to know that before I take the time to download it. I may consider buying this or something like this, but I would like a little more flexibility to actually use the program. I don't feel the demo version is quite up to the task of providing a solid basis from which to make a decision.

  Ok, I have an expanding archive of currently 700+ midis. I love them all(well most of them anyways). But I wanted Tab for them to play them on my gutar. That was my literal dream. Well, after downloading this, my dream has come true! Look no further than this program to help you print out your favorite MIDIs in TAB!
