  Summary

  I installed this in June when it came out. When I went to restore my system, it destroyed it, and required that I do a new install. I tried it again a few weeks ago, and it did the same thing - what a disaster. Stay away!! I am now using Toolwiz TimeFreeze, which works like a charm!

  Pros

  still testing this app so far ive restored several times with no problems,i even deleted part of registry to create bsod and it restored perfectly. cant ask for more than that.

  Cons

  i would like a help file with lots of info about this app i dont know its limitations,some confusion about is it just a replacement for windows restore or is more like rollback etc and restore if windows is kaput.

  so far i like it alot works 100% as of now. time will tell because other apps like this snapshot type can end up causing problems for many people, will update later if i find anything of interest.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jul 18, 2012<p/>update after real system crash. messing with a new registry cleaner crashed my pc so i thought i would try sysrestore.on boot menu it did not give option of snapshots so i restored it worked great but it took me back to the first save point when you install.so you will loose all your up to date snapshots and any work you have done, so this is good for an emergency ie you cant boot into windows.as long as you can get into windows you can use up to date snapshots with out any problems.so i still think its a very good piece of software but an option of snapshots on boot up would be a big improvement.i think also you cant defrag your pc but it uninstalls easy with its own uninstaller, so you can defrag etc every few months and reinstall.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 1, 2012<p/>had to update again to correct something.i was installing io bit cleaner and it crashed so bad i could not boot to windows. sysrestore saved me again what a wonderful little program. i found when you boot into it sys asks do you want to boot to first checkpoint if you say no it goes to the console and lets you choose a snapshot so forget my previous statement.this for me makes this program brilliant its saved me this time from a windows reinstall.sysrestore rocks.
