I was able to build several process maps and automatically generate very professional looking process narrative documents for each process map in just a few minutes.
Cons
None so far.
Summary
The product's ability to automatically produce different reports and documents from your process map is very impressive and everything is automatically kept in synch by the tool. If you make a change to a preocess map, your reports and documents update automatically.
Visio on steroids!

Pros
This product is probably best described as "Visio on steroids". It is easier to use than Visio for creating simple process maps, but has lots of advanced capabilities that go well beyond simple flowcharting tools like Visio and SmartDraw.
Cons
Excellent for process mapping/modeling. Would be nice to have an integrated spell checker.
Summary
Better than anything else I've seen on the market.
I did it, so anyone should be able to figure it out.

Pros
If you are smart enough to know that documenting processes "could be a good thing" then you are smart enough to figure out how to install and use Synthis Process Modeler. The hard part is defining your processes, then quickly realising they need improvement, but that is kind of the point... isn't it.
Cons
No MAC support. I wanna MAC because they are great, but am bummed that Synthis does not support MAC.

Pros
Very simple to use, produces beautiful process charts and any other "flow" you require from the very simple to the highly complex and multi-dimensional. Registration is required after 30 days but that is little in exchange for this beauty!

Pros
This program makes my life easier. The drag and drop ability along with the quick start guide make using this program a breeze. As an industrial engineer I use process flow on an everyday basis which means I will be using this product on an everyday basis.
Cons
Nothing really. Although I do wish it was easier to rename activites.
