  Pros

  Can control almost everything about each individual slide, e.g. position, scale, quality, pan, zoom, text. Has sensible defaults for each parameter, but allows manual input of everything. <p>Can drag-and-drop images in the sorting view (obvious, but not all products do this) <p>Good value.

  Cons

  Less control over the appearance (template) than over photos. <p>Soundtrack continues playing when show is paused or stopped. <p>Probably not the best for someone who simply wants the very simplest interface.

  Pros

  I needed a flash slideshow for a web site I maintain and checked out several inexpensive software programs here on Download.com -- this one is very easy to use and seemed to be the most customizable and have more options than the other programs. It's extremely easy to use and the price is definitely right!!

  Cons

  I haven't discovered anything I don't like about it and I have a feeling I'll discovery more that I do like about it as I use it more!

  Pros

  I had a hard time finding a slideshow type product that would generate smallish sized files playable in flash with a presentation of slideshow images allowing "variable time length" slide so that audio could be tailored to each slide. <p> <p>None of this stuff is easy, but SWF 'n Slide does allow this to be done and it works well, once all the basic tutorials are read etc. The result is exactly what I needed, complete with "start pause rewind" etc. control buttons. Very configurable program, lots of power without being a "career" study to get it done. <p> <p>Support was excellent, I had a few questions such as needing a more complete version of Quicktime to get the audio generated properly by the program, they helped with all of this, rapidly. Much appreciated.

  Cons

  At the end of the day, no negatives. Couldn't find another program that would get this job done, short of jumping into a huge study on building with Flash. This program spared me that grief to get my project done.
