This program is a security file shredder. Its purpose is to prevent others from breaching your privacy or stealing your secrets. Its method lies in removing all traces of any sensitive files from your hard disk, beyond all hope of recovery. Sure Delete can obliterate all aspects of an individual file and even wipe out entire folders in one operation. Sure Delete includes a user-selectable level of security and can clean your hard disk to make sure the files which were not removed with Sure Delete can't be recovered, either.

Summary
I needed to delete some files that windows is telling me i don't have permission to delete, even though I am the administrator and an administrator is the only user account I have on my pc. I thought this software might work, but I just get the same message: 'You do not have permission to delete this file."
Every new PC I get, I get Sure Delete

Ive been using Sure Delete for years, From what Ive seen, it helps keep my PC Clean !<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 7, 2012<p/>I recently bought a "new" refurb XP pro PC, I had sure delete on my old XP, and LOVED it, I was happy to find this program still available. I also bought a NEW Win 7 PC last Jan. 2012, and missed my old Sure Delete, and when I found it here, I got it, even though it says nothing about Win 7, It works fine, and Im really happy to have it !, I get much less registry clutter etc, and never had any freeze ups or any problems like that, I REALLY reccommend this program to everyone ! MC
