• GETS STUFF BITDEFENDER MISSED / / LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION

  Pros

  My LifeTime Subscription always worked good for me. [no pop-up adds because they have been under new management for years now] I got Bitdefender to try it out (two-year subscription) [worked great, too] I did notice that STOPzilla was picking up malware that Bitdefender missed, even though it (STOPzilla) was Not running as the primary antivirus program and was deferring to Bitdefender as the "Active Protection" antivirus app. Customer Service Is Great {American Product with real English Speakers}

  Cons

  I don't know of any downside. [Recently Windows asks if i trust this program when an upgrade comes in via the update. ... i have no idea why]

  Summary

  I would like to see STOPzilla management spend the money to have the reviewers test them against the best of the best each year. I think STOPzilla will show top level capabilities.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on May 3, 2016<p/>I am using STOPzilla as my Active Protection now. I am Not using Bitdefender any more.

• BAD MOMMENTS WITH THIS SOFTWARE!

  easy inst, neat interface, dangerous product

  Cons

  after 5 hours of deep scan, it claimed to found like 6 "treaths", they where sended to quarantine, and prompted me to reiniciate pc, i did so and when it came back, came with a message from ?microsoft? to enter mi product code, wich is an xp, i knew someting was wrong, anyway a spended the next hour looking for it. since is an original i had no problem entering the code, and gess what?, long story short, had to go to restore point cause the code whas "wrong" in a number of attempts, fine lesson for me, for being so cheap.

  HAD TO GO TO RESTORE POINT IN MI PC, CAUSE THIS SOFTWARE UNLAESHED THE WORST VIRUS MI PC HAS ENCOUNTERED

  STOPzilla is very successful at preventing threats from infiltrating my computer. Because no security software can be expected to anticipate every possible threat, when potentially unfriendly items fake their way into your system, STOPzilla AntiVirus sends them to quarantine for removal and performs system remediation. I am Very Happy.. a must to have!

  Pros

  Easy install, and picked up a few viruses my old software was missing but I new were there (hence my search for a new AV)

  Cons

  Install took awhile, but I just got a cup of coffee.

  Summary

  I don't really get what the stink is from users here. Maybe I just have a new version but this works just fine, and without all the annoying pops I get and sometimes lackluster performance from the free ones.

  Summary

  I tried this software in 2010 and since it crashed my brand new computer. Luckily, Best Buy was kind enough to swap the computer out for me and I never went back to StopZilla. Unfortunately, I've been billed every year since and after complaining, they simply state, "we can't offer a refund, sorry." I've asked to be taken off the list but we'll see again next year. Maybe I can cancel the credit card that they continue to bill. This company is a scam. Do not buy. You've been warned.

  Trying to be objective, but un Pros !

  Cons

  1 - $$$ or you cant remove 2 - I've read about Conduit Search tools removal, and some people recommend that product. Unfortunatly I had to buy it, and the software is unable to remove all spyware and Virus. Must Consider using and other software.

  Summary

  Many free tools are much better than this one, Malwarebytes and SpyBot are much more usefull. because they let you clean your PC.

  Pros

  I tried a couple other anti malware products and stopzilla found and removed a virus that the others didn't detect. Thank you for such a great product. My computer is back up and running great!

  Phantom virus' and Trojan's detected to scare into buying. Even went so far as to say "stuxnet" was on the computer!

  Summary

  A colleague of mine downloaded the trial along with a few other programs. I cleaned his computer up after it suffered the "Delta search" redirect virus. Used various powerful cleaners then tried this which claimed he had 40+ infections including "stuxnet" before prompting to purchase. What a waste of time and bandwidth
