As you'd probably guess from the name, this application's primary job is to remove the dreaded red-eye effect from digital photos. Although you'll find a tutorial as well as an unnecessary instructional nag screen, you may not need any help, thanks to the user-friendly interface. In addition to correcting red-eye problems, Stoik Redeye Autofix lets you configure image strength and sensitivity. Beyond those features, however, you won't find any other image-editing tools to speak of. You do get an option for printing your corrected photos, and the ability to remove red eyes from many photos at once is a convenient perk. However, since many other programs offer red-eye removal in addition to plentiful editing features, we think Stoik Redeye Autofix is a good bet for folks who primarily need its batch-removal powers. Other users can find a more comprehensive option.

'Red Eye' detection engine was completely re-written to improve detection performance. Detection rate exceeds 80% with less than 5% of false positives. 'Red Eye' color correction filter is much more intelligent, it provides the optimum balance between correction of red and preservation of eye 'natural look'. Manual mode was changed to allow manual correction of all visible 'red eye'.

Very easy to use. One click fix even does more than one eye at a time. No manual and tedious painting or settings to fumble with. Easily navigated through all the pictures in my folder. Sensitivity settings could be improved though, even the highest settings did not remove all of or any of the red in some images.

This is the one red-eye reducer I found that didn't degrade the entire image during the file save process. The resultant image went from 1.5MB to 2.5MB at the 100% quality setting, but I couldn't detect any difference from the original, except, of course, the lack of red-eye!
