Stiva SHOPPING CART is a PHP/MySQL based product that can be used on any website requiring online product orders and payments. With 3 simple steps you will have Shopping Cart script installed on your website. Stiva SHOPPING CART script comes with a Developer licence which is not IP or domain locked and you can use it on every website you build including your own or your clients' websites. Using a simple style sheet file you have complete control over the look of the shopping cart. Your clients will be able to buy multiple products and quantities and select different payment methods; Paypal, WorldPay or Google Checkout. Simply specify the fields you want your clients to fill in on your checkout form when submitting an order. Using a password protected administration page you can keep track of all orders. You can export all orders in a CSV file, or, to easily find an order using the built in order search engine. For experienced web developers and web designers we have the Developer Package which includes the full PHP Source Code and allows you to make your own changes. The User license requires Zend. Your hosting account needs to support PHP and MySQL for both User and Developer licenses.

Pros
I am a senior web design consultant and have over 10 years of experience in the industry. The STIVA Shopping Cart is a great. Stivasoft support team is perfect! And the ability to make changes to the scripts to fit a particular project. I have seen many companies come and go but Stivasoft provide an excellent value to the market. I plan to be a long term customer and appreciate the fact that my inquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner. It makes a big difference to those of us that are working with clients and trying to get projects completed on a daily basis. Keep up the good work, it is nice to see a company that values its clients and treats them as individuals and not just a number on a spreadsheet. I give Stivasoft 5 stars and would recommend.

Pros
Great service and a terrific product by Stivasoft! As a newcomer to web development and with very little understanding of php, I purchased shopping cart script from Stivasoft. Any time I asked a question or asked for help the service team at Stivasoft were there. I asked for some alterations to the script to suit the purposes of my client and they were done at a very reasonable price.My client was very satisfied. I'm very happy with the original product and the modifications.

Pros
Good clean php, easy to set up, admin interface is OK not great, getting products in the cart is easy, direct interface with PayPal and Google Check and a couple of other options. Styling of the cart is clunky.
Cons
No provision for sales tax by state, shipping feed interface. Order notification by email does not tell you the payment method if you have options. No promo code function. If you use credit card payment option, card info is not secure.
Summary
OK with custom modifications for which you will pay 3-4-5 times what you paid for the cart. Custom mods are slow. Support is usually quick to respond but slow to act and not particularly friendly or accommodation. If you offer constructive criticism, they go off the deep end. Also, it is obvious that they do little if any beta testing and the talented coders to not understand how this product will be used in the real world = you become the guinea pig. Otherwise, it's like my new hair do, totally fab.
