PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (Stylized as PUBG) is a massively multiplayer online battle video game developed by Brendan Greene and published by Bluehole for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android and iOS. The game was an ARMA 3 battle-royale beta that came out in 2015.

The game is based on the Battle Royale style of the mods previously developed by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games, but independently expanded under the creative direction of himself .

In the game, up to a hundred players parachute from an airplane to an island, where they have the freedom to move to a specific place that they choose and seek weapons and equipment to kill other players while avoiding being killed. The safe area available in the game world decreases in size during the game, directing surviving players to smaller areas and forcing clashes. The last player or team standing wins the game.
