This extremely basic application might help guard your browser from hijacks, but it's far from a full-blown antimalware application. The program's bland, unattractive interface is at least easy to use, as you'll only find four icons. Spyware and Adware Removal includes something like a real-time shield, but its performance failed to impress us. Also, the pop-up blocker doesn't work well at all. Don't expect a comprehensive scanning engine like most antispyware applications provide, as this program only ferrets out browser-helper objects. That said, it does its work quickly and did detect the majority of malicious BHOs we installed for testing purposes. However, since you can find many more powerful antispware programs that also perform this same function, we doubt most people will find this bare-bones offering necessary. At least it's free.

Pros
Program does have limited functionality. Programmers now have a descent base to program from although it needs work still.
Cons
Had stability issues while running on test machines, and crashed one of my systems. <p>System resources are used to max even though they are specified as requiring far less. Name of Software is used by several different programmers and can easily be confused.

Pros
Stopped adware, pop-ups, and hacker files already indentified by another program. My WIN ME operates faster with no irritating pop-ups although I can't remmove the offending program - SO NEW no virus program can identify it - YIKES.

MUST disable the blocking for pop-ups for sites that I TRUST.
