Used SPX Instant Screen Capture for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Although the design sometimes gets in the way of functionality, SPX Instant Screen Capture offers decent features for capturing, editing, and annotating screenshots. SPX Instant Screen Capture comes bundled with SPX Graphics Editor and SPX Studio for modifying and annotating screenshots, respectively. You activate the screen-capture utility using hot keys: Ctrl Shift F1 for freehand capture, Ctrl Shift F2 for rectangle, and Ctrl Shift F3 for windows, including full-screen. In the Options menu, you can choose whether to capture scrolling windows and where to send screenshots.
You can e-mail, fax, print, and send images via ICQ, IM, or FTP, though we'd prefer the mail option for sending images to our default mail client rather than to Outlook Express. Also, though we like each of the three tools, breaking their functions out into distinct applications complicates the work flow unnecessarily if you need to both annotate and edit. SPX Instant Screen Capture suits people who frequently report errors to support-desk specialists or who need to integrate screenshots into PowerPoint slides.
