Arles Image Web Page Creator lets you create online image galleries in seconds. Arles automatically generates high-quality thumbnail images, modifies images, and generates HTML pages. You can fine-tune images and HTML pages using one of the many available options, or use templates for full control over the pages. Arles supports more than 20 image file formats and includes the Arles Image Explorer for easy image management. Text annotations, watermarks, image logos, and image borders (including 3D and button-style borders) can be added to all your images in a single click. It features rotating images, the viewing of EXIF information, a batch file renaming tool, folder titles, and drop shadow image borders.

Installs a raft of crapware on your system

Don't know. Uninstalled it immediately after discovering half a dozen junkware/adware on my PC.
Cons
Installs half a dozen pieces of adware/junkware on your PC, which the description on CNET conveniently neglects to mention. This required half an hour to delete and clean everything, including a full reboot of my system. I am extraordinarily disappointed in CNET for allowing something like this on its system. I thought CNET was a reputable download site.

I was after an easy way of creating web 'html' thumbnail pages from my folders of digital pictures, not only create thumbnails but also to resize the orginals to a more managble size. Thsi does all that ... and more. I was using Photoshop 'save to web' feature before for every photo to resize to say, 700*500, then creating thumbnail pages in Frontpage, all very time consuming and tedious. This program lets you specify the layout format, the thubnail size AND teh final picture size. You can select sourse and out put folders and lots of other options for the final page. You then press one button 'All' and it produces folders of thumbs/images/and htm index sheets.If more than one index sheet/web page is required it automatically creates a link to the indexpage2 from indexpage1 etc ... very clever ... All you have to do is link to the 1st index page from your web site and upload the 'master folder' to your site and you are done. I have tried others ... this is simple; neat; easy; and straight forward ... I couldn't improve on it. PS : My only slight critism is that it puts 'Generated with Arles Image Web Page Creator' at the base of each page ... but gues this is only in the trail version, and you can easly delete it in say, Frontpage or a web page editor.

This product revolutionized the way I upload pictures. Instead of with ugly, blank directories, or spending a half hour trying to thumbnail and organize my list (while writing the HTML), I can just click a few options, point the program at the appropriate folder, and I'm ready to publish! Also, a great story about the company. My old harddrive died about a year ago. I emailed Digital Dutch that I didn't have my registration code, etc, and they got back to me within two hours giving me my registration code AND a link to where I could download my particular version. I know it's not ground breaking, but it's GREAT service. Highly recommended!
