Sparkle Booth for iOS

Sparkle Booth is a photo filtering app that offers only one filter -- a sparkle overlay. There are few options for how the sparkles will look, no editing tools, and no alternate filters. There's nothing wrong with Sparkle Booth -- it does exactly what it promises to do, but there are plenty of other streamlined photo editing apps that offer more depth than Sparkle Booth.

When you open Sparkle Booth you can choose to take a new photo or load one from your camera. After doing so, you can choose from one of a number of sparkle sets included in the free app. It will apply the sparkles over the top of your photo and you can either change the opacity of them or you can save and share your photo. That's about everything the app does, but it works smoothly, the sparkles look good, and the resulting photos are attractive. The interface is easy enough to navigate, and if you enjoy the effect it offers, there are no limits for using this free app.

Sparkle Booth offers a solid filter that is hindered only by the lack of additional options. Either for editing or for other filters, the app doesn't do a whole lot more than layer sparkles over your photos.
