This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I've been using Squeeze since its introduction, and the continued lack of long file names on Mac is slowly driving me insane. Contacted Sorenson support about this last week, and I was assured that a Beta was being released this week which *might* address the problem, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere on the web as of yet. Squeeze is a great product as far as the flexibility and quality, but it's clear that the UI Designers don't actually have any experience doing video production.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I just purchased the full compression suite and have never got it to work past opening it on either PC or mac. They sent me two new versions to try and still nothing. Crashes, freezes, you name it. Oh and whats with spending a ton on the full version, then after installing on mac I get a prompt that says I am using a trial of some windows plug-in and I will have to purchase in order to compress longer clips... I feel cheated.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Wow, not only is the last version of Sorenson Squeeze a buggy tease (it does look promising), their employees are either incompetent or beat down by company policy... I can no longer recommend this product to students and peers, once you own this application you will be tempted to upgrade annually, however (one you do), you will have to reinstall every version you own in succession every time you install (fine with one upgrade, annoying as hell if you have owned several versions). Dont bother contacting them, they don't seem to care...

...Sorenson Patch
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
We all know software companies release software that's a little flawed, but Sorenson, come on. This was a big disappointment as a lot of us were waiting for that Windows Import/Export feature that Sorenson has been promising for months. Wait for patch. This one's DOA.
