The Software Life-Cycle Management (SLIM) tool was designed to be a lightweight solution to documenting and tracking software requirements and test cases. From conception of the project, during the development of the project and the testing phase of the project, requirements may change. SLIM allows you to track these changes through meeting minutes and allows you to link them to requirements. When requirements are completed (i.e. implemented) they can be linked to the source code that actually implements these requirements. While setting up the requirements, a test plan is created through test cases that will test the requirements.SLIM uses XML and XSL to generate documentation and reports thereby allowing you to customise the look and feel of the documentation, what should be generated and what should not. Requires a license to use the product.
