SOAR was developed by the leading authority on flight phobia, author, airline captain and licensed therapist Tom Bunn, M.S.W., L.C.S.W. This additional app, SOAR VR, brings virtual reality technology to the SOAR program. When used in conjunction with the SOAR program, SOAR VR controls fear, panic and claustrophobia automatically when flying by establishing psychologically active links between flying and factors that block the release of stress hormones and activate the calming parasympathetic nervous system. The SOAR VR was developed by psychologist and pilot Alex Gervash and Viktorina Lintsova.
