It will control and manage an unlimited number of GSM modems or mobile phones simultaneously and runs in the background as a Windows service with a professional management console. SMS Demon allows you to develop multiple messaging services and interactive applications that receive and send SMS such as; emergency alerting, information alerting, promotions, information retrieval, surveys, notifications, e-mail integrations and anything else you can think of. It is a completely scalable solution that will allow you to start with a small number of devices and quickly expand with your business.

Summary
We've been using this program for a while now, for both text messaging and logos and it works great so not sure what the peoples problems below are - this area is not for novices. Maybe try one of their more functional programs or don't expect so much for an evaluation version!

I've tried at length to get the guys who developed this to help with some problems encountered while evaluating. Very little response and what did come back was just a fob off. Website and help files are not clear and examples are scarce. Pity because the product seems to have the features.

v good development program does what it says very well. There are a lot of programs around but doesnt run server services like this one. and the support has been pretty good. should probably use a gsm modem rather than a mobile phone though, devices are way more reliable
awesome program, very powerful and pretty easy to get a handle on, but can be confusing at times

It doesn't take long to get an application up and running using any type of database. I got a simple ASP/ Access app up in about an hour and ported it to SQL in about 20 minutes. Best thing though is its stability and speed, guess the power is in the way it runs as a service - good stuff!

I've developed a very sophicated SMS enabled Access 2002 database and currently have been using SMS Demon to talk to the phone. Its been amazingly robust, stable and fast, but it's also pretty complicated, but I guess thats part of the power.
