Editors’ Review
Explore Smart Hải Phòng, developed by SO THONG TIN VA TRUYEN THONG HAI PHONG, as Hai Phong City's official digital citizen mobile application providing centralized access to municipal services and government interaction. The app offers direct submission of petitions and administrative procedure tracking, official news and emergency alerts, and a digital tourism map with destinations and accommodations. Key capabilities include VNeID authentication, searchable education and healthcare databases, and secure citizen feedback channels. Designed for residents, local businesses, and tourists seeking consolidated municipal information.
Large local datasets give the platform practical coverage for city usage
This application includes detailed local records, listing over 2,000 educational institutions and nearly 800 healthcare facilities. In addition, the tourism catalog covers about 130 local specialties plus hundreds of accommodation and attraction entries. These datasets support searches and local planning, and they help businesses locate services and compare options across neighborhoods.
Real-time feeds and camera features depend on network and feed stability
The platform provides live news, emergency alerts, and traffic camera access that depend on municipal feed availability. User feedback specifically notes occasional instability with traffic cameras and delayed one-time code delivery for some features, indicating live functions can be inconsistent. Consequently, expect variable availability for streamed images and operations that require timely authentication during peak times or in low-coverage areas.
VNeID sign-in and official management anchor administrative interactions
The developer manages the application as an official municipal channel. Authentication options include phone-number login or the national VNeID system for full access to administrative procedures. VNeID integration enables federated digital identity, and the platform clarifies which submissions are routed to city agencies rather than informal channels.
The service balances accessible public information with account-gated administrative steps
Downloads exceed 150,000, reflecting notable local uptake for news, maps, and reporting tools. Many users praise the refreshed interface and the feedback channel for civic issues. In contrast, workflows that require tracking or formal processing ask for VNeID authentication, so businesses and residents handling official procedures must set up verified access to complete those tasks.
Pros
- Official municipal channel for direct interaction with city agencies
- VNeID integration provides national digital identity authentication
- Extensive local records: 2,000+ schools and nearly 800 healthcare facilities
- Tourism catalog with about 130 specialties and hundreds of sites
Cons
- Traffic camera and OTP features reported as occasionally unstable
- Varying Android and iOS requirements may exclude older devices
- Live feeds depend on municipal feed availability and network coverage
Bottom Line
Practical municipal gateway for local audiences, though device compatibility can limit access
Smart Hải Phòng is a practical official resource for residents, businesses, and visitors who need a single point of contact with city services and local data. The main caveat is varying platform requirements across Android and iOS, which can prevent older devices from accessing all functions. Verify your device's supported OS versions before relying on the application for time-sensitive administrative tasks.
