Great, simple screen capture and annotation

Pros
For quick screen capture and annotation you don't get much quicker and simpler than this and it looks pretty good for everything you want to do at first.
Cons
You're limited in options. Only one style of arrow (although that one style is pretty good. The biggie (for me) is that you can't change the size of the font in text. Deal-breaker right there. Another minor annoyance for me is the fact that every time you grab a new screenshot you have to choose whether to discard the current one. It makes the hot-key speed slow down quite a bit. And it can't handle some context menus and etc that require a delay.
Summary
If you're looking for something quick and the ability to get good-looking annotations really quickly, look no further. But if you need the capability of changing your text size then you're out of luck.

Pros
Worked well for the first time for what I was intending to do with it (highlight a report as I entered data to another doc.) until I tried to save to Evernote.
Cons
Skitch would not connect to Evernote an popped a message box that said try again later. If you click on 'OK' or try to use the X to close, the message box continues to appear. Once I was finally able to catch the close before the box popped back up, I was able to close the program. The next time I tried to open the program, the message box popped up again and I could not do anything. I finally figured out to have my mouse over the X and hit escape on the keyboard which gave me enough time to click the close while the message box was gone. I uninstalled the program after that.
Summary
I may attempt to install again if I see that reviews are better telling me that this program is worth my time.
Love the drag and drop usability and quick highlighting

Pros
I've used Windows Snipping Tool and a couple of Mac apps, including Grab Me, but this is much easier. Select what you want to capture, then highlight with brightly coloured boxes or big arrow... job done. Then, just drag into an email or Google Doc..so quick and easy.
Cons
Unlike other reviewers (who may have been using an earlier version) I haven't found any negatives
Summary
Be nice if it ran on my new Chromebook :-)

Pros
Nothing. There are no pros to this, unless you enjoy having your computer unknowingly filled with malware.
Cons
EVERYTHING. Aside from the fact that Skitch doesn't let you change the background colour (which is moronic), downloading this program WILL FORCE you to download AND INSTALL an UNWANTED toolbar which is classified as MALWARE. If you don't want to destroy your computer, I would highly recommend you DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE!
Summary
DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS. This program, along with this whole site, force you to download a toolbar called mixi.dj which is considered malware. It will slow your computer down and hog resources. PLEASE do not download this, you'll be wasting half an hour of your time if you do.

Pros
No bells and whistle, simple to use for basic things like grabbing a cropped part of a page, can store on line and add a few things like comments.
Cons
It doesn't work intuitively!! Worked at first, now when capturing an image I get the shutter click sound and nothing. Also, once captured you can't actually save it to your desktop, it keeps it online somewhere with an upgrade version for more storage, but in the end I had to 'email' the image to myself then save it, only way. Pain. Fail. Try something else!
Summary
If it worked properly it would be ideal, but the Mac version is one of those typical Mac type things were you're staring at it for ages, clicking on the only two options available and neither of them seem to do the obvious.
