SimCity 2000 allows the user to build and manage a metropolis. You're given a plot of barren land to zone into industrial, residential, and commercial areas where people work, live, and play. Lay roads, subways, highways, and railroads to connect the zones and watch your city grow as citizens immigrate. As your city grows, you must deal with crime, education, and health issues by strategically placing police stations, schools, and hospitals. Add parks and stadiums, on-ramps and bus stops, airports and seaports as your citizens' needs grow. Manage traffic, the budget, and the needs of your constituents, or face riots, public ridicule in the presses, and eventual impeachment. (Hey, this sounds good!)

Ok, but it was advanced when it was released.

Classic game. Kinda fun to play. Barely takes up any space.
Cons
Sometimes crashes, but that can be expected when running a Windows 95 program on Windows XP in compatibility mode. You'd think for something this old, they would give it away for free, not a demo version.
Summary
Good, but it should be free considering how old it is-why bother having people pay for a piece of 15 year old software? Crashes occasionally, but you gotta keep in mind that will happen when running it on Windows XP in compatibility mode, as it was made for Windows 95 (makes me wish I had kept my old Windows 95). Good game, though.
Nice game but it doesn't seem like a trial.
