- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'm a big fan of keyboard combinations to quickly execute my needs. In switching to OS X, I grew tired of relearning or unlearning shortcuts and relied upon my OS 9 experience of shortcuts that still worked. A single click to get rid of desktop clutter is perfect for me. I have not been a total fan of the GUI changes OS X has brought my way. I think Apple is often pig-headed and stubborn. This product or a similar use should have been incorporated long ago. Thank you for a simple and easy way to "get the job done."
Thankyou thankyou!!

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have been searching for ages for a neat and tidy way to have 2 Finder windows accessible whwn I need them. OSX seems to be kind to me and does actually remember the settings for the 2 I have set up, but it is a pain getting them both to the top when there is a desktop full of open apps to move out the way. You can hide all apps from the Finder in the dock ctrl-alt H, but you can only get the apps back by going to the Dock and clicking on the icons - and you have to remember which apps were on the desktop, which is not very intuitive at all. This is perfect as it is accessible from the menubar, one click gets rid of everything so I can see the 2 Finder windows and the desktop, (where invariably I have new files and folders to sort out), AND the killer feature which makes this a real slick Mac app - shift click the menubar icon to unhide all disappeared app windows so you can effortlessly carry on working as before. 5 starts and lets hope Apple implement this
Perfect

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Simply perfect! Had to go without Show Desktop for about one minute when I quit it in order to install this new version. After only a few seconds without Show Desktop I was lost in a confusing pile of apps and windows. This is one app one cannot live without. The perfect Exposé companion!

- Summary
- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I like the 1 click from the menu bar. I set it to minimize windows (which in conjunction with window shade) is awesome! I keep a pretty tidy desktop but during the day when I am doing a lot of edits, my desktop can get cluttered and I may have 15+ finder windows open, One click and I can see the files on the desktop. Great product.!!
