This multipurpose imaging tool boasts a nice feature set, though we're not particular fans of its design. Before installing the program, you can choose which of its five basic modules you'd like to put on your machine: Photo Zoom, Photo Clean Express, Photo Print, Photo Artist Express, and Photo Effect Express. If you put them all on your machine, expect them to consume a lot of memory. The program lets you create photo albums, resize images, and also contains plenty of editing tools, from a bevy of artistic filters to red-eye and color correction. Photo Artist Express also has a few very basic painting tools. However, it's inconvenient to have to go to a separate program to perform different actions; other developers have figured out how to put all this functionality under one roof. Other drawbacks include the demo restrictions: a watermark on the output file and recurrent, irritating nag screens. Beginning to intermediate photographers will appreciate this program's versatility if they can live with the issues described above.
