Shooting-Score-Calculator, by Klaus Henning, is an Android utility for tallying target-ring results during practice and matches. The app lets users log hits for rings 0 through 10 and produces instant totals and an average points-per-hit readout. Entry can be made with tactile plus/minus controls or direct numeric input, and a simple session reset clears the grid. Competitive shooters, club members, and recreational marksmen gain a focused tool for on-range scoring.

The app accepts counts for rings zero to ten and translates those inputs into the total score, total hits, and an average score per hit automatically. Users can adjust counts with on-screen plus and minus buttons or type counts directly on a numeric keypad, then press the Empty control to start a fresh series. These mechanics reduce arithmetic during a session so shooters can return attention to technique between strings.

Records individual ring counts and turns them into usable session metrics

Fits low-end devices and offline range environments

Designed to run on Android 4.0 and later, the tool works without an internet connection and does not request intrusive permissions, so it functions at outdoor ranges with limited connectivity. The package is very small, conserving device storage, and copying results to the system clipboard lets users paste scores into notes or messaging apps for external recordkeeping.

Single-screen design supports quick entries in live workflows

The interface concentrates scoring fields on one screen, limiting navigation when time between shots is short. The absence of advertising keeps the display uncluttered, and the tactile controls suit fast adjustments during practice series. The straightforward layout keeps visual clutter low, which helps avoid miscounts during repetitive sessions cited by community users as a practical benefit.

Practical accuracy and where it fits among range tools

The calculator handles universal ring scoring, so air rifle, pistol, and other target disciplines can be scored with the same method. It does not provide built-in session histories or advanced analytics in-app; instead, users export session snapshots via the clipboard for long-term tracking. For shooters who prefer a lightweight, immediate scorer rather than a full logging system, the app fills that narrow but common need.

Bottom Line

To sum up, a focused scorer for marksmen who want immediate, low-friction session results

To sum up, Shooting-Score-Calculator is a practical option for shooters who want a compact, distraction-free way to capture session results and quickly verify totals. The developer specializes in niche shooting utilities, so this app emphasizes single-purpose reliability rather than extended tracking features. If you prefer building a longer training record, combine the app with an external notes or spreadsheet tool for session history.
