Quick Web Search is a browser specially optimized for searching specific terms online, and it opens ready to receive your search criteria. With this browser, you don't have to repeatedly tap search boxes to bring up the keyboard or remove previous entries, making searching the Web easier than ever.

The interface of this app is straightforward, with a search box in the middle of the screen when you first open it, and a keyboard already displayed on the screen. Just type in your search term, and hit "Go," and you'll be taken to a page displaying search results like you're used to seeing them. You can tap the links in these results the same way you would in any browser, and the appropriate page will come up. When you're ready to start another search, all you have to do is tap "Done" in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and you'll return to the search page you started with. Again, the keyboard will be ready to go, and the search box will be empty, so you don't have to worry about deleting your last search term first. However, all of the items you search for will be saved in a list displayed above the search box. So if you want to perform one of those searches again, just long-tap it, and it will automatically show up in the search box.

This app is fast and free, with a nice set of features, out-of-the-way banner ads, and only occasional pop-up ads. From the regular Web screens, you have the option to take a screenshot to save to your camera roll or export with one tap, or you can send the page as a link in an email or SMS. While it might not seem like much, this app definitely streamlines the Web-searching experience, and it's worth checking out.
