• Nice simple solution for small computer repair business

  Pros

  I originally downloaded this program to create service orders for my small computer repair business. Though it appears it was originally designed for property management, with a few tweaks here and there I was able to get it to do what I want. It also comes with an invoice application that allows you to "do it all" in this one program. The software is regularly updated, unlike some other small programs that you can tell have lost support long ago.

  Cons

  While it is a great program for my needs, there are some things I wish it would do. The invoice app needs some work, most specifically the ability to break down labor from materials income in a report. The inventory app is really quite useless at the moment as it does not integrate with anything else in the app. It would be nice to input inventory and then keep track of it with the invoice app as it was sold/used. The Work Completed window cuts off text after a certain amount when printed, but the program doesn't warn you of this. It would be nice to have a number of characters left notice above the box.

  Summary

  If you're a small company that does service work and are looking for a good system to keep track of work orders, I suggest you try this one. The price is good, the developer is active with updates, and the program is small. Finally, I implore you to avoid acknowledging reviews that are misspelled, in all caps and give no real content like one I found on this page. You really think that guy knows what he's doing? Just my two-cents on that matter.

  Pros

  I am in an aged care facility with hostel and unit accommodation and have been using this for 2 years now. It networks (relatively) easily allowing all my staff (with PC access) to enter jobs. Even sends out a fax through our network.

  There is nothing much to complain about with it.

  Summary

  Response to feature requests or issues has been very good. Sean must be awake at all kinds of hours - even considering we are in Australia and he in in the US. Thanks Sean :)

  Cheap price and does it all. this thing is fast and saves everything in need to a database. It really has every option i could want and more. and thank you for making it work across my works network. we all us it here.

  I use this everyday to create job orders for my outside repair staff. I create it then print it then the program saves it so i can go back later an put in what was done on each job. I can also run reports to find past completed jobs.

• WORKS VERY WELL

  I work at an apartment community and this software works very well for us. we use to hand write all our service request now we use this software. it has lots of different reports to print or just view. prints out work orders fast. You can network the program over a office network. I took full advantage of the 30 use trial version, and its cheap to buy. great software i would recommend. (hometown.aol.com/palmlakeapts)

  Cons

  a nag screen pops up while starting the program telling you how many uses you have left. it needs a report that prints out a range of work order numbers, I could really use that.
