COM port redirector I looked for

Pros
What is good about it? First of all, the remote device is recognized as plugged directly even if your local machine doesn't have an existing RS232 port. It was really very good feature for us.
Cons
A little bit expensive, but we use it for our company's needs, and it fits to our budget.
Summary
Our office is not very big, but we need COM port plotter to be accessible from ?another office. We have searched for the solution and found all needed functions in Eltima product.

We have before I knew the software of Eltima several free programs to implement RS323 on Etnernet tested. But all did not work reliably. The Eltima software worked immediately.
Cons
We could not find any disadvantages.
