This sound board was created to support sensory teaching for students with complex learning needs. Sixteen simple sound boards with excerpts from Macbeth's 'Witches Scene', stormy weather effects and generally spooky noises are included. Various layouts including single button and two button boards are included. A choice of cartoon and photographic images is provided to suit age ranges from upper primary school age onward.Boards support scanning and Bluetooth switches which send key presses or taps. The iPad screen can also be used as a 'Tap Anywhere' switch. Scanning is included for switches used without Switch Control enabled - but this is also a simple app to use with iOS's built in scanning and any iOS compatible switch interface.Options to simplify backgrounds, remove text labels and add audio effects to playback are also included. This sound board is particularly useful in supporting the NI PDMU Thematic Unit on Witches and Wizards but is a useful resource for sensory teaching more generally where Macbeth, Halloween or storms and weather are the focus.The app is rated 17+ to ensure teacher review before use as for some students in this particular target group it may be inappropriate - see the support URL for more details.
