-misleading info, it is not from kaspersky. -web of trust (WOT) has rated this companies web page as dangerous. -prevx blocked me from viewing this companies web page and said it is known for phishing attackes.

I have vista on my desktop, and it was very buggy, so much so that it was nearly impossible to keep it from having a red exclamation point in my toolbar at all times. It also has a very large memory footprint, too much for its low usability.
Summary
They automatically renewed my service two months before my registration expired. I only found out because my bank contacted me with a fraud alert. Bad program, bad service, and they take your money without asking. Why download this over avast or avg? I paid for this program up front and stuck with it out of sheer laziness. Save yourself the money and trouble and just go with a more efficient and free antivirus program, your computer and your wallet will thank you!

Did not give them permission to renew by credit card but they did anyway. Could not download the latest version of The Shield Deluxe and have it work. Customer support did nothing except try to sell me another product that I knew I did not need.
Summary
Used to be a good virus protection product out of Florida, but has gone downhill as far as my dealings with them. Product often corrupts virus files on download, and customer support and the billing department, either don't pick up a call, or give little support that helps. Stay away from these products!

I read, and re-read the product description and I noticed it's a rip off of Kaspersky. Just take a look. The UI is ripped off of Kaspersky... I tested it myself and it did a absolutely dismal job of protecting and cleaning up... and it wants me to pay for it's incompetent abilities? Thanks but i'll pass. You're better off buying from a more reputable company such as Symantec or Kaspersky... or using free products like Panda, Avast, or AVG.

Used to love the product and had it for a year before some files got corrupted and I had to reinstall it recently and all hell broke loose

Customer service pushed me into iyogi.com instead of giving me a new download license (I paid for two years)....there are no refund provisions past 30 days that I can find. Once talking to iyogi in Delhi, India they tried to sell me a service
Summary
The customer service outfit I was referred to wanted $140 US to "repair" my computer or tune it up. As soon as I deleted the trial version, my USB ports began working again downloading photos. I couldnt find a link to reinstall the full version I paid for for two years---one year is up and I will have to eat the second year as a loss. I settled for download of trial version and then tried to upgrade with my past license key at least a dozen times to no avail. Never had this problem before when I had to reinstall and never got shoved off overseas before but I guess everyone is outsourcing service. It used to work great but getting service in Oct 09 was so frustrating I deleted it and never looked back. I am using uniblue.com now and happy with it.
It's the best security I've used.

Very good customer service.They use iyogi tech service.My computer is well protected . They have solved any problems that have come up.Had a bit of a time finding the right version & found that Security Shiel 2008 workded. Now I have the 2009.

Summary
My computer was totally screwwed up using Norton. They couldn't fix it. I went in search of a good security. I didn't care what I had to pay as long as it was good. I saw ratings on C-net and settled on PCSecurity Shield. I'm running Vista 64 bit Quad. So some of the versions wouldn't work right. That's the secret to this whole thing, getting the right version. SS 2008 worked & now updated tp 2009 . I have had several issuses & iyoge will staighten out everything.I find the customer service for SS excellent. I can understand why some of the revues are bad because patience is a virtue here.If you don't have the time to deal with problems & it does take time sometime, then you get frustrated w/the service. I learn something everytime I have to call SS.If you get disconnected while you are on the line w/them they call back immediately. My computer runs very smooth. I have no problems with this service at all.

My McAfee expired and I wanted to try different security protection. purchased (8/5/09) PC security Shield. Bad idea. still isn't installed properly. I've made 10 calls into their iyogi support for assistance. now looking for another software product

I've had to call way too much to get the software to run properly. I'm still not convinced that my system is being protected. sometimes it says it's scanning other times it says services not responding and I have to keep entering the registration key. what a nightmare. I want to get my money back but I am afraid I won't be able to install ALL of their software. I guess I will go back to McAfee but it makes my system run sooo slow when it's scanning. when I call for support they spend hours with me on the phone (literally) and still have to set up a time to call me back so they can "research" the issue. how about just resolving the issue. I have wasted too much time and I am frustrated. even the second computer in my home is not protected. Bottom line is I feel like I was taken for $29 and have no protection. If anybody knows any Good, reliable and safe security suite protection software, let me know. thanks
