SearchGUI is a user-friendly, lightweight, and open-source graphical user interface for configuring and running two proteomics identification search engines simultaneously. The main purpose of SearchGUI is to make it simpler to use multiple search engines at the same time. The application allows you to enter the folder path to each engine and to select the database files before starting the process. Although the GUI is preferred by most users the program also includes command line support for the ones that prefer to use this option.
