Search and Rescue - SAR Tools APK for Android

Search and Rescue - SAR Tools is an Android application designed specifically for the marine search and rescue community, providing essential calculators for SAR missions. Key features include a Speed, Distance, Time Calculator, Latitude/Longitude functionality, and specialized timers for sector and expanding square searches. Users can easily enter parameters to receive calculated results, and the app also includes a direct Twitter feed for updates from RCMSAR.

The app supports night mode for calculations, ensuring usability in low-light conditions, and automatically logs search parameters for record-keeping. Users can email their logs for further reference. While the app is optimized for portrait orientation and offers various user-friendly features, a known issue with the keyboard may obscure navigation on certain Android versions, which can be resolved by restarting the app.
