Want to watch videos & browse at the same time? Crush multi-tasking while you watch video and playlists in a floating, movable, resizable window, without skipping a beat using ScreenOut. Your video will "stick with you" and continue playing as you bounce around the web, close the tab, or even start working in Excel. Works with majority of video sites (YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, Vimeo, and more). It even works with playlists on YouTube. ScreenOut blocks annoying ads before and during YouTube videos. Floating video window is resizable and moveable. All original playback functionality available in floating window (volume, pause, play, full-screen, closed captioning). Original video source is paused when video is popped out. If you close the new ScreenOut window, the original video resumes where you left off. Keyboard shortcuts supported.
1) I watch a lot of online videos while I work, and the picture in picture/popout video functionality is so much easier than rearranging the windows to all fit on my screen. It's really convenient being able to resize and move the video anywhere.
2) So far, I've been able to play every video without any problems.
3) You can pop out YouTube playlists! HOLLA.
4) As someone who constantly has a million trillion tabs open, I love that I can close the tab or leave the page without playback stopping.
5) No ads when I watch YouTube (which is pretty much the only place I watch videos). YAY!
Cons
The extra step to enable panels was kind of annoying, but it only took a second to do. And it's not like I have to enable panels every time I use the extension, so I ain't even mad.
Summary
Must-have extension for anyone who likes to watch videos while working in other windows.
Great for multitasking
