Well, it doesn't capture anything. Or, to be fair, that's not true. It captures a black screen with a cursor on it, and the text "Screen Mimic - www.decimus.net" Not sure what the joke is, but I'm not laughing.

Your going to be blown away how good the quality of a youtube video download is even on older macs. Screen Mimic was a waste of time and money as well as ALL the other video capture apps were including Snapz Pro.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I've tried it in the DEMO mode (15 second limit), and i have to say that it works. But right now i'm not very satisfied of the result: i tried saving with "Highest Movie Quality", then with "Smallest File Size", and finally with a middle configuration... and i got 3 files with identical size and quality. I hope to see a new release with working settings, right now i don't find it very usefull (and it costs quite too much, in my opinion).
