Developer’s Description

Measure performance of drives system of Linux clusters.

Computer Clusters extend computing power to nearly boundless. It is only limited to amount of computing units can be built into clusters. The way of measuring clusters' computing power would be different from SMP single computing units. This is Scimark Drives series extending to clusters for Linux systems based on 32-bit and 64-bit nodes. It aims to make a reasonable benchmark for clusters, showing their clustering drives performances. In order to make the software running, basic clusters need to be setup and MPI packages also need to be configured well. The results will be filed every run onto master node.

Within the package, there are three packs for the implementation of OPENMPI / MPICH respectively. It may suit different cluster environment and help to understand diversity of MPI.
