What is Sanford Harmony?

Available at no cost, Sanford Harmony is a social emotional learning program developed by Sanford Programs at National University System for Pre-K6 grade students. This program is designed to foster intergender communication and understanding, peer connection and inclusion, and community both in and outside the classroom. Implemented by educators, parents, and caregivers, Sanford Harmony helps children develop into compassionate and caring adults.

What is Social Emotional Learning?

Social emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for being a healthy adult. This includes problem-solving skills and intergender communication and understanding, as well as the desire to embrace diversity and build healthy relationships that will last well into adulthood.
