SafeWallet is a free program for managing your private browsing information, including passwords and Web forms, but the bland interface is difficult to navigate.

You don't need to install SafeWallet. Simply run the executable file when you want to use it. Despite its sparse appearance, it isn't readily apparent how to navigate the interface. The Help feature uses point-and-click functionality, but it only explains the purpose of the buttons. There is a readme text file in the program's folder that gives more detailed information. The first step is to create a database. From there you'll have the option of storing login information, Web-form data, files, and folders. There is also a slew of buttons on the left side, but again operation isn't intuitive. Once you've entered in your data, you have to add a password, which is a little backwards. Also, the button is labeled Change Password, which was confusing. Sometimes the windows weren't sized correctly and didn't fit in the interface. Constantly resizing them was a bit annoying.

Ultimately, SafeWallet worked, but we recommend you move on to a password manager with a more user-friendly interface. Novices will be especially confused by this program.
