Safe Data Backup protects your valuable data. Easily back up your data to a CD, DVD, local drive, USB memory stick, or network drive. For extra safety, use the remote backup features to store your encrypted data off-site. Remote backup is available using either FTP or e-mail. Schedule automatic backups to run unattended, so your data always remains safely backed up. Backups can optionally store revisions of modified files and deleted files, so you can restore any earlier version of a file.

Backups can even copy files currently open or locked by other applications. Filtering options enable you to precisely select the data you want to backup. Advanced features are available, such as being able to launch other jobs before or after each backup job. Safe Data Backup has a simple, intuitive interface, and uses minimal system resources when running.

Simple, reliable & trustworthy

Pros
(using v5.0 on Windows 10) Beyond total reliability and being easy to understand (essential when dealing with something so important), the main pros for me are: 1) the ability to copy (mirror) folders and files to backup to another storage location 2) the ability to create a compressed archive (zip) of files with optional encryption 3) the ability to schedule automatic backups 4) have a reassuring log of what has been backed up giving indications if any problems have occurred (they never have, so far!) I would also like to add it has a clean and tidy interface, a small system footprint and well written help documenting all aspects of the program.

Simple Tool for Backing Up Data

I've been backing up my data files with Safe Data Backup since 2009, storing the uncompressed and un-reformatted backup files on outboard hard drives, and I have found the product to do everyone I could possibly want. It is easy to schedule as many backup events per day as one might desire, and it's just as easy to define which files or folders are included in each separate backup procedure. Best of all, Safe Data Backup allows the user to back up any number of saved versions of the same file, thereby allowing one to recover and restore, for example, that Excel spreadsheet that was saved three weeks ago and then saved again after several interim changes. The software even backs up and allows the recovery of files that have been deleted by the user. Competing backup software is often more complicated (and more expensive) than Safe Data Backup, but I've encountered few backup programs that are as easy to use and as well thought out. Customer support is top-notch too!

Summary
I was looking for easy to use backup software that could do automated, straight, uncompressed file backups to external drives in the original file formats. Safe Data Backup does this in spades. It is very easy to use, with accurate, and detailed help files. I've used it for a month to backup my personal files with absolutely no problems. It reliably does exactly what it is supposed to do without fuss. Unlike some other backup packages I've tried, with Safe Data Backup I've encountered no fussy snags or problems that you have to develop work arounds for, it just works, which is a rarity these days

For me, the best feature of this product is that I can schedule regular uncompressed data backups that save the stuff i want in its original form so it is very easy to find the relevant material and recover it.

Pros
I have used several of Beiley's software programs and find them all very easy to use, and they meet my functional requirements. I am a typical end user and Safe Data Backup walked me through the Windows Password setup to run scheduler. This was a big help! I'd recommend Safe Data Backup to anyone. Buy it before you have a disk failure!
