Fox did not appear straight away, had to walk into the area a couple of times before he showed up, so I could give him a medi kit. Crates don't display there contents until 15 to 20 seconds after being broken.
Summary
Will give a fuller summary when I get to Pripyat that is where the main problems were. The Bandit at the farm House are better at combat than they were, or so it seems. So far I feel the download was worth it.

Pros
I received a notice from Techtracker that there was a more recent patch for Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl and this was it. Easily downloaded. Good pro from Techtracker.
Cons
The only problem was, the patch wasn't for my version. When I tried to install it I got an error saying 'this is an International Patch and I needed the US Patch for my version'.
Summary
If you have an International Version of Stalker this should work for you in updating the game. I ended up looking on the THQ Website to find where I could download the correct Patches for my version. After a bit of searching I found the US ones could be downloaded off Fileplanet.com.

I game a lot I have about 60 PC games and they get updated from time to time and you dont always know it. It's a patch for the game. The only pro I have is TechTracker let know my game was not updated.
Cons
No con's with this download.
