Roast Meat Calculator for Android

Calculate the ideal cooking time for roasting a joint of meat. Simply choose the type of meat, enter the weight in either Kilograms or Pounds and Ounces, press the calculate button and the app will calculate the time required.

Choose from a whole range of meats including beef, chicken and lamb. In addition for some meats there is the option to choose rare, medium and well done.

You can easily switch between Kilograms and Pounds and Ounces just be clicking on the weight switch.

Cooking times may vary depending upon the oven used, the time calculated by the app should be used as a guide only. The app assumes the meat is fully defrosted and the oven is up to temperature before the cooking starts. It is up to the chef to ensure the meat is thoroughly cooked before serving and recommend using a digital thermometer is used to help ensure this.
