I couldn't find how to create layers so I called Cort, who immediately informed me and then updated the brief manual he provides. While talking to him, I asked if layers could be reordered. They could not, but Cort said he's implement this. He did. In TWO days! Amazing.

There's not a great deal to customise in this program and to be able to zoom in/out on a particular area of a map would really improve the product. I had to contact the author to ask a simple question and was quite pleased to receive a response within the hour (on a Saturday as well!!) I'd recommend this program to anyone requiring such and hope that the developer continues to add features in the future

I looked for a way to make nicer and more interesting presentations of trips I organize for my customers and journalists to other countries. Using scans of maps with hand-drawn trip was not really an impressing way to do that when combined with nice films. For what I do, this software is what I was looking for.

I am giving a speech to 5th graders on a recent around-the-world trip, and this little utility helped create some Quicktime transitions for my pictures. Perhaps a little expensive for what it does, but it comes with a bunch of maps, so overall it is a good value.

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is a very interesting app... all it does is create animated QuickTime movies of an animated car, boat, or plane, traveling from one waypoint on a map (one of several included images or one you provide) to another, to another, to another. But this is actually highly useful... in my vacation footage, I don't take a lot of movie in the car, so animated movies of a little car moving from my town to where I'm traveling would be highly useful as cutscenes in between "Leaving" and "Arriving." And if I take footage at stops inbetween, I can work this in seamlessly by making the *stop* the waypoint, then doing another animation from the stop on to the destination... this would look great in iMovie, and would cut out my repetitive use of titles. The app is very stable and didn't crash during testing. The exported image quality seems to be quite good, but it's hard to tell as the app is "crippled..." all exported movies have text to the effect of "UNREGISTERED - BUY THIS PROGRAM" over top of them. I know crippleware is almost necessary now, but it might be better to allow 1 or 2 free exports for evaluation. All in all, a great app for anyone who does a lot of vacation video in iMovie. Give it a try, it's pretty good.
