If you check out the "What new in this version," you'll find they've addressed both some great-to-have fixes and minor enhancements as well as some very subtle things that most of us would never be bothered by--but that attention is the typical of the great support by Leister Productions.

Superb support by developer, dedicated ReunionTalk digest for user/developer dialogue, and a self-contained, searchable, electronic manual that is great. Feature set is extraordinary with a wide-range of reports; many chart styles including large-sized versions that are great for family gatherings, an all-relatives version, and a powerful--but easy to use--chart editor that lets you tailor just about anything in any chart; and automatic generation of HTML-coded files for posting on the Web or for off-line sharing. This is a real, high-class, "for the Mac" program; very, very, stable. CD includes one program optimized for OS 8.5-9.2.2; another, with effectively the same feature set, tailored for OS X. Whether considering the initial cost for v8 or the lower upgrade cost from pre-v8 editions, the value is great. Having a program, such as Reunion, which really enhances your task productivity pays dividends day in and day out--and that would make it a bargain at twice the cost. With Reunion, genealogy data input and generating products is easy and fun! (Note: I'm not an employee of the developer, just a very enthusiastic, long-time, user.)
