Heredis offers a variety of innovating tools. A navigating family tree in 3 dimensions allows an entire genealogy to be displayed on one screen only. This tree has been designed so that genealogists may situate themselves at a glace anywhere in their ancestry. HEREDIS MAC X will write a CD-ROM directly containing your genealogy including all the individuals of your choice. Your family will then receive a precious gift containing the fruit of all your research, with no problems for consulting or reading the data : which may be read by any navigator (Safari, Microsoft Explorer, Netscape) and presented in a manner worthy of a true professional. Similarly Heredis will build your own genealogy site, ready for publishing on your personal pages.

I have been using Heredis for about a year now without any problems until recently when it started crashing every time I close a window containing a chart that I have generated. I have just finished generating and printing nine charts and have had to restart the program eight times.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Heredis may look great but donÃ¢??t waste your money on it. At least not until they fix the software. After entering four places, with their add feature, the program crashes. You can re-start and it will crash after every new entry. IÃ¢??ve tried starting new files, importing a file, and a completely new install, nothing works. As of yet IÃ¢??ve gotten no response from their support people.

While it is one of the more expensive ones, I think it's features make it worth the price. As an additional plus, the Demo version allows you to save up to 50 people!
