Synchronize your data from different applications and PDA devices.

Resync synchronizes your files into different applications and devices, including Palm, Outlook, and Outlook Express Windows address book. Resync has a simple interface, making data synchronization easy for novices and professionals alike. Resync can be used to synchronize your date book/calendar, address book/contacts, to-do-list/tasks, and memo pad/notes data between two or more of the following applications or devices: Microsoft Outlook, Windows address book, Relata, Palm desktop, and a serial handheld device running the Palm operating system. Resync's backup and restore functionality helps safeguard your data from loss or corruption. Resync includes a number of advanced features, including contact number and field prioritization, and the ability to map various Microsoft Outlook fields to Palm custom fields. Resync can also be used as a migration tool to migrate your Palm data to PocketPC and vice versa.

Version 1.7.21 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Obsolete and trapped in the past

None. An utter waste of my time.
Cons
onl.y works if your palm pilot connect via a serial port (NOT USB!)and you run old 4.1 version ov palm desktop. It's the 21st Century, Dude, USB is Da Bomb.
Summary

When you first run it, it tries to contact its server - if your behind a firewall or it can't connect, it hands indefinately. <p> <p>You can only synch palmtops using a com port, not USB which is what 99% use to connect (now we're in the 21st century, they could at least move to the 20th). <p> <p>Won't synch with Outlook, lots of unintelligible error message (looks like lots of random characters). <p> <p>You may find some use for this, but I doubt it.

One person said that he saw a file trying to attempt to access the internet. iTunes does the same thing all the time. My question is, should I or should I not get this product. I have been working my butt to get messages on my PDA but it never works. What do I do, :((

I bought a dell axim and needed a way to transfer my palm data to it. Resync fit the bill. The tech support staff got me running in no time. I scanned my file with norton 2005 and found no trojan horse in it. The tech person said it will crash with palm 4.1.4, so use 4.1. Outlook 2003 service pack 1 doesn't work either, but it worked with my outlook 2002 fine.
Warning- Installed Trojan!!!
