  Summary

  Yes, it can be used. But not fully. Me this one is missing. For example, the need to use other software such as additional, LiteManager Free or use a form that is. But this is not enough.

  Pros

  Installs on both machines on our private LAN without requiring an online account - Nice. Looks good

  Cons

  After more than an hour installing, tweaking my system and computers, doing both on machine installs and remote installs, it just plain won't connect.

  Summary

  I wish it worked. I'll find something else.

  Nothing that overcomes misrepresenting you product.

  Cons

  Quick specs section of CNET says that it is free but EULA says that it is a trial and you must pay to continue using.

  Summary

  To: "Anywhere Control Software" Lying is not a particularly effective sales strategy.

• Not worth the trouble

  Pros

  Gives false positives for lack of AV software. (Annoying) - using Symantec Setup per user will take way to long.

  Cons

  Wont let you uninstall even with admin rights. have to disable service and leave it in your PC.

  Summary

  Not worth the trouble for Windows 7 machines. Very buggy and has issues with sending passwords.

  - Great image quality - Offers great tools - Easy to setup, use and install - Does exactly what it says on the tin

  Cons

  - Limited to 4 computers on a free license - Looks old and boring

  Summary

  Over-all a brilliant piece of free software. It does all the advanced work like opening up ports it's self. It's a must have if you strive to maintain your home network promptly!<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jan 30, 2011<p/>If you read the comparison table when clicking "Get a free licence". It will tell you that ONLY account connection mode is limited to 30 days of use. So the lisence doesn't lie. And anyways, you don't think they pass data through their data-centre for free do you?

  I'm not sure but I think it interacted with other running programs causing issues.

  I will need more time to see if or what the issues might be. Overall it did work.

• Great Network remote

  Pros

  I needed to run software on my XP machine, but wanted to access it from Win7, The download, installation and setup were a breeze. Full remote access works wonderful. Super Easy control functions.

  Cons

  The remote screen view is somewhat small, but that may just be resolution settings.

  Summary

  Setup on host and remote (admin) computer were very simple. The user interface is very simple to navigate. The included file transfer also is very user friendly.

  Don't like it because they are falsely advertising a free license when it is truthfully a 30 day trial software, but otherwise as described.
