Remember the Letter is a game for learning the Arabic alphabet. It includes different forms of each Arabic letter. It includes recorded audio of each Arabic letter. Remember the Letter supports a variety of Arabic fonts. The ability to change the font within the game allows users to begin to decipher text from many different styles of Arabic calligraphy and typography. The program makes use of the Arabic fonts available on the user's computer. Remember the Letter displays letters in all four different positions (isolated, initial, medial, final). By seeing how Arabic letters vary depending on their position, users can more quickly recognize letters within Arabic words. By matching cards the user can gradually become familiar with the sounds and shapes of Arabic. Remember the Letter includes options to adjust the game play to the user's needs. These options include number of cards, and amount of study time.
