easy to use for very small websites

- the limit to check 1'000 links is very poor - even the best not free version (costs much too much) you can buy from the distributor offering this lite version wouldn't be able to check all the links of a site with much more than 20'000 links, so I will have to look for something more useful

- read good and bad on this so here goes i did my main website with and it showed me all the errors on pages even to the level of no content and cleaned the the whole job lot up with now looks ok did it on blogs culd not alter other dudes meta

- message reads method not allowed so i thought something was wrong when in fact you can not alter some other dudes stuff ok got it well i think that is what it means

- i think its the dogs xollocks for an amature like me read earlier piece from reviewer that it only confirmed web page existed well to novices thats all we need but can not of used all functionality of it is all i can say from stugod why people knock free stuff i will never know whats to loose as long as it comes from a trustworthy sorce from stugod

- If your website has more than 1000 links you'll need to upgrade to the Pro version. I chose to go with the free Xenu Link Checker instead.

- Does exactly what I wanted it to do and that is, the ability to import a list of URLs and determine if they are valid or not. As a bonus, it will tell you where a re-direct points. Can take the results and export to Excel (very handy in my case)!

- It gets down to the last 5 or 6 URLs and the application begins banging the CPU at a consistent 50%+. I let it go for about 10-15 min. then had to hit the stop button. Ended up checking these URLs manually. I don't have a huge problem with this, but it would be nice to know what the workaround is. Giving 5 stars anyway.

- A lemmon! Installed like a breeze, hope it uninstalls the same way ;). This program only verified that my web pages existed. I already knew that. I could not get it to check the external links at all. What a waste of time.

- This is a great program. I hate websites where half the links are dead, it makes me leave their site! This will help you keep on top of dead links, EASILY.
