Recycle Bazzar for Android

Recycle Bazzar, from Saha Recycle Bazzar Pvt. Ltd, is an Android app that connects households and businesses to local scrap collection services for responsible disposal and circular-economy outcomes. The tool schedules doorstep pickups, coordinates collectors, and ensures transparent weighing and valuation at handover. It logs collection requests for recordkeeping and supports common recyclable categories. Aimed at residents, offices, and commercial establishments in the Shillong area, it reduces landfill-bound waste while formalizing local recycling workflows.

How the Titan model professionalizes local scrap collection

The platform registers verified pickup agents known as Titans, who collect material at the doorstep and document transactions. That decentralised collector network converts informal activity into traceable operations while creating employment opportunities for local youth. Regional endorsement and initiative partnerships support agent verification and adoption. The presence of assigned field agents and agent navigation features gives local coordinators a concrete custody chain for collected recyclables.

How scheduling and tracking fit into day-to-day operations

Users schedule service from a dedicated Service section by selecting a service card and completing a booking form; an account sign-in is required to confirm requests. Current and past pickups are viewable under View Pickup, which displays request status. The app provides in-app communication to coordinate timing with collectors and supplies integrated navigation so agents reach addresses during their rounds more predictably.

What materials and collection workflows the app supports

The app accepts newspapers, cardboard, plastics, metals, glass, e-waste, and old books, accommodating both household recycling and commercial clear-outs. Doorstep collection supports recurring office pickups or one-off estate sorts, and the request history functions as a simple archive for organisations that need written records of collections. These workflows suit teams that run scheduled recycling drives or maintain regular material recovery routines.

Platform requirements, support, and operational limits

The app is available on Android through the Play Store and needs an active internet connection plus location services to coordinate pickups. Customer support routes include a Call Option in the user profile and a website problem-report form. Dependence on mobile connectivity and the local collector network constrains effective coverage, so the service performs best where agent density and cellular service are adequate.

Who benefits most and an important operational trade-off

Recycle Bazzar is a practical option for local administrators, office managers, and small businesses that require verifiable collection records and scheduled pickups within the Shillong region. A clear trade-off is geographic dependency, since service utility depends on the presence of verified collectors and reliable mobile connectivity. For teams needing documented, repeatable recycling workflows in that area, it offers a field-ready operational bridge.
