Display your recent history in a one click menu.
This extension displays your recent history in a one click menu like Firefox. It also has a link to Chrome's main history. You can choose how many items you want to display and if you want to clear the history. It works by recording your tabs and saving them (via localStorage HTML5) which can be displayed in the popup menu. It doesn't touch your main history at all and leaves that intact.
