Developer’s Description

By Andrew Downs
Make recent files and their information available in the Apple Menu.
Recent Additions is a system enhancement that creates aliases for recently created files (documents and applications) on your Macintosh. You can select and open these aliases rather than the files themselves. The aliases are stored in a folder called Recent Additions, inside the Apple Menu Items folder in your System folder. Recent Additions saves the date, time, and path of uploaded files in a log file. The text format of this log file displays the path information relative to the root directory of the hard drive. The HTML format uses the computer's domain name to convert the path to a URL. This latest version fixes a bug that could delete files from the root directory.
