RawTherapee for Gentoo (64-bit) is free and open source software which involves the concept of non-destructive editing. Adjustments made by a user are not applied immediately to the image, but the parameters are saved to a separate settings file (however, the user can see all effects of adjustments in the preview window). Actual adjustments to the image are made during export process. RawTherapee is a cross platform image processing software equipped with the essential tools for high quality and efficient RAW photo development. It features advanced color handling from white balance to HSV (Hue-Saturation-Value) curves and color management, multiple denoising methods, batch processing, parallel editing of multiple images, and advanced control over the algorithms with many fine-tuning parameters.
