  Pros

  after an extensive search and test for optimal IDE's (Aptana ,netbeans,jetbrains Webstorm ,CodeLobster ,CofeeCup,even the big Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Web publisher ) i finally fall in love with this peace of software, 1- super fast and light on resources 2- rich feature 3- nice built preview for you code 4- responsive auto complete feature 5- good support and responsive forums 6- nice interface and very easy to learn. 7- customizable for your needs . 8- did i mention fast ? 9- affordable price .and its worth the money

  Cons

  can't find for it's price. yes its Dreamweaver .and its fare to compare 300$ to 50$.

  Pros

  Quick to learn, has intellisense for languages and even jQuery. Easy to publish using SSH/FTP, integrated SQL browser, support for custom libraries and snippets.

  1. It's inexpensive (even for commercial use.) 2. It's reliable. 3. It's easy to use. 4. Checking pages across multiple browsers (IE and Firefox) couldn't be easier!

  Cons

  Hmm, there may be a way to address this, but when a page is made up of several different files, you have to remember to save them before previewing. I'll check to see if it has a setting that will automatically save them, then update this review.

  Summary

  I've been using Rapid PHP for about a month now. I tried several applications both free and not free and this one is by far the best. The free ones either lacked the necessary features, were buggy, or both. The not free ones were inexpensive UNLESS you wanted to use them commercially. Setup was easy with Rapid PHP. The others? Not so much. Rapid PHP starts off with a well written, very helpful wizard that walks you through setting up the application. It didn't take long to realize that Rapid PHP was a quality tool.

  I've been using RapidPHP for just over a year and can find little to grumble about - everything just works, and works well! <p>An all-round good program, the best PHP editor I've ever seen.

  Pros

  Sure I didn't try everything available, but I did try a couple and found Rapid PHP to be one of the most versatile and easy to use. Just start using it right away, and along the way you'll discover more and more nice extra's. It's very affordable, for every freelance programmer. libraries for HTML, Javascript and PHP, easy to customize.

  Cons

  No scp/sftp support
